Nice to see white that reflective, good job.
What kind of lights did you use to check your application of Opticoat.I find putting anything on white challenging.
Does anyone spray UTTG?
I see on the ultima site that they offer the UTTG with a sprayer and AG does not.I have tried using a trigger spray with no success but would like to be able to use a sprayer at least for the Cowl area.Any thoughts.
I want to paint the rear wells on my F-150 due to rock chips, should I use regular black spray paint or an undercoat type paint.I dont want anything that would remain tacky or attract more dirt.
Thanks
Ken
The black maybe mildew from being stored with the top down when wet.The Harrtz company makes most convertible tops and they have a recommendation of using bleach along with the cleaner that I have done on my light tan convertible and it worked really well, make sure it dries completely before...
Would WG3.0 stick to a month old application of KSG.I was going to top with a wax then decided to stay with a sealant and wanted to use the WG3.0 for no other reson than the KSG after a wash doesn't have the slickness to it even though i know the protection is there. This is for my wifes 2011 DD...
Jomax is a booster and works really well if you have areas that a regular bleach mix won't do.Your skin will take a beating from it as well.
I mix 1quart bleach to 4gal. of water and then apply with a sprayer or purchase an x-jet attachment for your pressure washer and you're good to go.
This is the time to use the old stupid and cheerfull approach.Tell dad with a smile that he's probably right but you just prefer to do it this way and let it go.
KSG always gets great reviews for looks/durability but is often followed by stories of how finicky or hard it was to remove which turns people away from using it.I find that as most know keep it thin let dry for an hour and removal is no problem.
Just did 2 coats 12.0 hours apart on my wifes 2011 Lexus RX 450h,no issus at all with removal. After the next wash i will add another coat.I find using KSG pretty user friendly to use,not as easy say WG3.0 but not hard either.
What a collection.I'm soooo glad you posted pictures so i can show my wife next time she questions me about having too many products.
Always appreciate your reviews.:props:
Have to agree with all of the above. My F-150 has plenty of black textured trim and I too have used alot of other products and by far UTTG rules. The only other product that got my attention for trim is the C4 which I have ordered but not yet used.
