no mazda club yet. i been to busy with holidays and cleaning house and eating left overs.
btw , im looking for a used flex lol, if you know any one. of course no one is going to be selling their flex, since its such an awesome tool
maybe because flex is a true force rotational and the griots and porter cable arnt true force rotational meaning if you give it enough force on the outer edge it will stop rotating and just vibrate please correct me if i am wrong
i know that the flex back plate has gearing on it
as you can...
oh ok cool. but who's mike?
not sure which porter cable was tried out, version one or version 2 with the vibration. i didnt realize there was 1 and 2 until i got home and researched.
im not questioning any one just trying to take all the info in and get it right before spending 150-300$
Re: 4 part prosses still has swirls?
ya but you spent the time and taught me and showed me where i could improve!!!
also you (and anthony)inspired me to get a Flex instead of a porter cable. i will be saving up. i have 250$ in my combined bank acounts LOL and i should be in the market for...
well after talking with a local detail shop. im going to save my money and save up for a Flex. he said that at full speed the vibration of the porter cable wasn't tolerable.
i hope i have not confused any one.
considering he had about 5 flex at the shop.... im going to place my money where it...
well you make a good point. so please go ahead and tell me the features and benifits of the machine that matter most.
i havent yet really heard a true comparison other then the griot has less of a reliability factor.
i believe the both have the same features.... just one already has a hook...
thanks! yeah im learning from a great guy!!!:buffing:
should have it figured out in no time, especially after the holidays when i have more money to buy accessories :dblthumb2:
amps and watts make for better motors to my knowledge, weather that motor is better or not is up to the manufacture. just like Horse Power in engines. less horse power may not compete. alton brown once said "watts is where its at" but that was about a kitchen appliance, though what he explained...
i am on a tight budget.
i will be returning my northern tool rotary buffer, it heats up and smells like burning electronics and the worst part is it creates holograms (could be user error but oh well) and i rather just return it and get a DA orbital buffer
i am on a tight budget, i am looking...

Re: 4 part prosses still has swirls?

lots of room in garage and added light if need be.
Re: 4 part prosses still has swirls?
:) yep i have heard some where if not even on here that the rotary makes the holograms and i will need to get a DA to help eliminate or have perfect technique.:props:
sux but i'll be able to fix the issue soon!
