Had a idea and felt like trying something creative lol.... Used my automotive paint gun to apply Built Hamber auto foam and think it worked really good. Layed a perfectly uniform wet film over the entire car then I drove it to the car wash. Would highly recommend trying for anyone with a...

If you could only choose one complete “system”?

Actually I'm going to flip flop these....Carpro really has nailed every product from top to bottom.

    Anyone "cocktail" polishes anymore?

Decent cut but you can also leave it on the surface and come back and wipe it off without it sticking to the panel like it would if it was essence by itself

    Anyone "cocktail" polishes anymore?

I do it often.... just did it today on a white Chevelle. 2/3's Essence Plus 1/3 Essence on a Rupes yellow medium wool pad. TWHS black polish gives great results, it's just a pain in the D to use. Couple weeks ago did a Black 1971 Mach 1 with 2/3's black polish 1/3 Essence and it makes it...

Looks good, glad it worked out. Carpro, Lake Country and Rupes all make very nice pads in the 3in. sizes. Post up some more pictures when it's all done.

I also have zero experience with any of Griots products.... Like said above those tooling marks you're getting are common when dealing with insanely soft paint. Acura, Nissan and BMW jet black are some of the softest paints on the market and can be down right miserable to finish down...

Hype and more HYPE! Every new coating gets press and then more press now it's Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light!

I agree but on the flip side I think it has got a whole hell of a lot more people doing it there selves.... for as big as the coating business has got so has the amount of companies putting out polishing equipment

Like I said earlier in the thread.... that paint is butter soft. Get some 5 in. Buff and Shine red pads and some Carpro Essence

Anyone try McKee’s Graphene Deep Gloss Ceramic Sealant?

I think the McKee"s side is much better. Whole lot less water sitting on the passenger side of the hood. I will take sheeting over beeding any day which it looks like the McKee"s side does much better.

Make sure when you're applying polish to your pad you prime the very very outer edge of the pad and up the side a bit for that edge will make more contact when mild pressure is applied and it ABSOLUTLEY will cause micro maring on butter soft paint which your Acura does have. Your process may...

Ya, I miss timed it in the wash line, next time I will do it off to the side first.... I have only used it once but have been messing around with it for a dish pre soak lol.....as in home plates and silver wear. Also used it on my outside top windows of the house. Definitely a impressive...

Was able to try the BH pre wash a couple weeks ago and was quite impressed. I didn't really even let it sit on there long before running it through the wash but it did a fine job of doing what I was hoping it would do.
