i know...just dont wana spend 60/70bux on a decent size bottle of wolfgang finishing glaze 3.0 I bought a the biggest jug of WG TSR 3.0 and want to use up other things before i start buying more stuff. Cant tell you how many bottles i have with 50% or less in them. tons of random things...

Hello, just wanted to know how Blackfire wet diamond or Klasse sealant (silver bottle) will bond on top of meg's show car #7....??? i have a bottle of show #7 and want to begin to use it. Typically i compound/polish out and use one of those two sealants and than sometimes a coat of wax...

is that 3rd pic before or after when you were done?

get a CG and a mikita 9227 or cheaper rotary. there are always going to be jobs a rotary makes very short work of. Even with a good DA & pad/product choices, a rotary has its place.

that is good but you ll end up needing more WG TSR 3.0.....you move threw that stuff quick. and honestly, if you use it with a gray/blue pad it finishes dam good.

x2x... thats not a fish eye......thats something under the paint leave it as is, let the dealer deal with it....which they most likely wont be able to. lol

from going over the thread kinda quickly i wouldnt of gone down to 1k paper when you sanded..... in my 3-5 yrs of being in a body shop we did a 1500/3k wetsand than went into buffing....and yes hid the small stuff with glaze after polishing out with a dewalt 849 and 3M compound. doing...

would i still want to do my semi dry or is it okay to use it while the car is pretty wet?? all the quick vid's you see are done on dry paint....thats why i wonder?

HI guys, Just got trix and never really used it before... before id rinse/apc/dwell/agitate/rinse - wheels/tires/wheel wells rinse car, get off anything big or bad off paint foam gun whole car - dwell 4/5 min wash whole car (2-3 bucket's, depending how bad it is) leaf blower semi...

its just not going to be the same as with a DA

get touch up paint, a tooth pick and 3k paper and a block. use the tooth pick to "fill in" the scratch. do several coats or multiple strokes waiting 20-30min in between each time. you are essentially filling up the scratch, once filled you are going to block sand the whole area with 3k paper...

try to do a rattle can job on it. At worst you ll spend 50-60 bux and learn a few things, than have to go to a shop but id give it a go and see if you can fix it on your own. painting is mostly prep.

spray clay lube spray and use like clay. broke them in on glass first. what else is there to do.....???

am i the only one who hates these things..... I opened the dual pack box, tried both, and then threw into the area/pile of stuff i dont use anymore and picked up my ole claybar. I didnt get the results that clay produced. IDK, maybe im not using them right...??

CCS or lake county pads here. 6.5 for roatary and 5.5 & 4inch for the old porter cable id only get 1 yellow (DA or rotary) 3-6 orange, 2-4 white, 2-4 gray, 1-2 blue, 1 red and maybe a yellow jeweling pad.

goto the sample section and add one to your cart. You hav to spend 50 bux to get a sample. I like p21s a lot.

on the last pic you can tell you went through..... No worries, i just did the same thing with some 2k paper. but i did it on a 99 4runner thats in really bad shape so you can look all over the car and never find it. you will learn more from this than reading on this site for a wk. mistakes...
