    Well i already know the answer to this ? but mine is complex. I know wax, sealents, glaze, etc etc do not work well in temps under 50 deg... but i plan to use my Makita 9227C rotary in 40-42 deg. I only have to get the hood and fenders done tonight, than i getting a heater. I would just...

    i just see that as user error or poor technique/careless yea, i see your pt, but if you are careful, clean it often you shouldnt damage anything using rubber. but nothing is idiot proof.

    They do. have been for 4yrs. I tell them how much it will cost doing a solid, nice nice job and they dont want to pay that. Plus i dont really see the point. why spend 15-20hrs on a paint correction that will sit outside, everyday 365 in chicago weather?? some choose to do it the right...

    well i wipe it clean after every pass, so i dont have that issue. and if you have dirt or anything left after a good wash n dry you didnt do your job....... a lot of cars i do, the people, dont want perfect, they want wash, wax, interior, engine bay, etc etc and only want to pay so much. So...

    its super soft rubber, i dont apply any pressure with use. I just dont see how it could effect the paint finish, even on something you just buffed. it glides over any paint, glass, trim, etc etc

    i use a leaf blower too, but first get all the pools of water off the glass, roof, hood, than blow the water top down to the bottom of the car, than get a microfiber to dry, cotton towel for door jams, inside trunk lid, etc etc the blade just makes things go so much faster.

    its the roof right.... so you wont see it as you look from one panel to the next. So it will still "flow" right. if it was a door or fender it would be much different.
