Agreed, if anything a manufacturer will overestimate the amount of product you should use because 1) they don't want to risk shortchanging you on performance and losing a customer and 2) they would rather you use more product quicker so you buy more of it.

Good to know about the ease of buffing, I've tried DP's WW and it leaves a ton of streaks that require a lot of buffing. Ultima seems like a much more cost effective product and I'll definitely be giving it a try.

I actually find the tip about using it on faucets to prevent water stains the most useful. Sure beats keeping a moldy rag on your countertop to wipe up the water.

Haha that's the part that gets me, just hearing about someone taking sandpaper to a $250,000+ car makes my skin crawl :eek: Granted, these are professionals with plenty of wet sanding experience, but still :laughing:

My thoughts are that 1 step/product around the whole car would be the most efficient. When you consider all the pad, product and maybe even backing plate/tool changes you have to make in between steps, a "1 complete panel at a time" method becomes terribly inefficient.
