I've bought 2 of those $5 packs at Walmart. They work great for drying wheels and getting smudges off trim/chrome, but that's all I use them for. I don't even like using them on my windows as they're too flimsy and thin for my taste. They're not even really that great for an emergency QD kit...

Agreed, great photos of some less than popular detailing areas. You've really made something often overlooked, such as the trunk hydraulics and hoses, a real treat in these photos. And thanks for making me feel better about having 90k miles on my 04 Sonata :xyxthumbs:

Well, basic Economics states that if incomes go down (and/or unemployment goes up) then demand for services (like detailing) goes down as well. The idea is to keep marketing to households with a high enough income that they're still willing to pay for your services.

I've had good success with DP's Cleanse All Exterior Cleaner. I have a 6 year old car and I never paid much attention to the back inside of the wheel, but going at it with that product cleaned it up pretty well. I would definitely recommend it over DP's Gel Wheel Cleaner, not nearly as powerful IMO.

Huh I thought M105/205 used non-diminishing abrasives. Anyways, even with something like Ultimate Compound I noticed a bit of sling off when I would raise my rotary off a bit early. Nothing like that pic though, good demonstrative image to burn this technique in! :dblthumb2:
