    Rinseless Tire Cleaning

Another good tip, thanks integritydetail Would a typical garden type sprayer be sufficient? Should I invest in one with a removable handle/nozzle?

    Rinseless Tire Cleaning

Thank you A4 1.8tqm, Conor, and tuscarora dave for the very detailed replies. Lots and lots of good tips in there. Here are some things I'll definitely be considering: - Protection, so the need for extensive cleaning isn't even an issue in the first place - Don't be afraid to dedicate some...

    Rinseless Tire Cleaning

Hey guys, I live in an apartment complex without access to a hose, so all my car washes used to be done at the local self service car wash. I pretty much just used their water with my own bucket, soap and mitt unless it was an emergency/hurried washing. Well a couple weeks ago I ordered some...

    Detail prices?

I don't have my own detailing business, but it's a pretty easy formula to figure out how much to charge and how to make a profit. (Profit) = (Amount Charged for Detail) - (Expense per Detail) First find out how much you want/need to make and plug that into (Profit). Next find out exactly how...

    My New Site (under construction)

Wow, great job. Good colors, spacing, lines, images, everything. Is it being professionally developed? Or did you have a professional design it? Purchase a template? Or is it all developed yourself?

    Replacing Headliner

I replaced the headliner in my first car when I was 16, a 92 Olds Cutlass Supreme. My Dad and I found a suitable headliner at a U-Pull-It junkyard, I doubt it cost much more than $20, then had it installed in practically no time at all. I don't remember much about the actual install, but I think...

    BMW 750Li Charity Detail

Those after pics are great, that beautiful paint color really deserves a gloss like that. One thing I would suggest is to distort/delete all instances of the owner's license plate in the pictures!

what is your favorite trim product ?

Try applying the product with a foam paint brush. Let it soak in for a few minutes, then wipe the excess and buff with a MF to a nice, even finish.

That's very likely, and I forgot how those sunglasses can affect glass, but I seem to think I've seen the pattern without them on, too.

Dots Inside / On Car Windows

Hello, I'm trying to get some information on car windows and those dot patterns that you can see in certain light. To be frank, what the heck is it? On my car, I've only seen them on my side windows but I've seen Bimmers and VWs with the entire rear glass having very visible dot patterns. Is it...

what is your favorite trim product ?

I have to agree with the Ultimate Protectant, as far as protection and endurance goes. However, it is not for restoration. I applied it to some mildly faded door pillars and the next day they were mostly back to their original state. I have a bottle of Mothers Back to Black but haven't tried it...
