I have an 07 Tacoma and used Menzerna polishes (2500 + 4000) with fantastic results. The Tacoma's paint is pretty soft so you wont have to go super aggressive with it.

I think hydrate is awesome because it really does make the drying process much safer. It also has a layer of protection in it that rejeuvinates the paint and makes it pop again. The product is actually a bit thicker then I anticipated but seems to really create a slick surface for the microfiber...

I hit door jambs with an APC and a brush and just go to town. I wipe off all the crud I agitate with the brush then re-apply APC and wipe again to get the remaining particles. You want to be careful of any wires or grease that is meant to lubricate the door knuckle.
