I wash my wax off microfiber towels separately from the rest of my microfibers. I am not sure that the wax comes out completely. It seems to me that there is always a residual amount left over. I use CG microfiber wash and no softener in the wash.

It took me 5 years but I did finish a can of Pinnacle Soveran. Bought another can so I'm good for the next 5 years. I can't bring myself to spend the $$ on the fuzion wax.

I would leave the battery work to the mechanic. No it's not very technical but not part of a detailers responsibilities. Why invite technical problems in a detail job.

I have both the Flex and the Rupes 15. they are both good machines you can't go wrong either way. The Rupes pads are fine but I have used a LC pad for short bursts with no problems

Thanks Mike, I did indeed order the 5 inch pads. The waiting is the hard part now. Will the hybrid pads work with the Rupes polisher?
