This may be a dumb question but is overspray something that you might find if your car has been repainted or could a new car also have this condition. I see the term mentioned many times in detailing threads but not sure how a car might come to this condition or what it might look like.

I was wondering if the grit guard pad washer lets you clean and dry the pad well enough continue using it? Or do you still need to change out the pad for a fresh one? No doubt that it does a good job of cleaning the pads based on reviews but is it good to continue on working without fully drying...
