    What canopies are u using?

Great tip! I'll definitely keep it in mind when I get one! I've seen the 10' x 10' ones up and it just seems a little cramped under it. Then of course there's the question of straignt legs or slanted, steel frame or aluminum, drop down sides, etc. :dunno:

    Puzzling

I am monitoring this because I have a similar situation going on right now with Fourstar UPP. I've used this product before on the same car, and it came out leaving tiny tight little beads. This time they are large lazy flat beads. I just don't get it.

Chris, What's the downside, if you can get a trigger sprayer to work why use the HVLP? In both cases I'd follow it up with a quick wipe of the applicator foam to even out the spray and give me that satin sheen I like. Any technical reasons why this wouldn't work? :) Kurt

Thanks John! I really appreciate you checking it out! I am not overly impressed with the Spraymaster sprayers and bottles. I've had two instances of where the sprayer failed mechanically or in this case won't work with the product I want. These are not cheap even if you buy them OTC. I may...

    Optibond

Hi Tim! Is that a trigger sprayer or a pump sprayer from Target? I love optibond for the satin sheen and durability. I've previously used it straight up on a foam applicator but this not economical! Even 1:1 on a foam applicator probabley suses more product than necassary. I hope to get the...

That's interesting, I've tried the spraymaster spayer and an ace hardware trigger sprayer and I couldn't get either to work. The product was too thick. Thanks John, I will definitely look at the megs HD sprayer. Anyone else using a different sprayer?

Optibond, what kind of trigger sprayer are you using and what dilution?

Paint transfer not removed by clay?

I've had good luck using a moderately aggressive compound like 3m's with a lot of elbow grease. Depending on clearcoat hardness this step usually requires a follow up with a finishing polish before the lsp.
