How hard is it to remove an existing coating so that you could put a new one down? Do you have to compound and polish or can you get away with a polish that finishes down good? I am new to machines (gg6) and coatings. I've always done everything by hand but just don't have the time anymore let...

Unfortunately, I ever got to try it, but bought it for all the great things I've heard about it! But now life has changed and don't have very much time to dedicate to detailing so moving towards sprays.

Looks like the Uber ceramic spray coating is safe for PPF. I specifically asked about some solvents that Xpel list's to stay away from because that is what I have too! This is the response I got: Yes, the Wolfgang Über Ceramic Spray Coating is suitable for use over a paint protection film (PPF)...

Prep is everything. I'm a weekend warrior so take this with a grain of salt but I've always looked at wax/sealant vs ceramic (not spray on and hose off, actual coating) as skill level. I've always been scared of ceramic coatings because of the streaking and high spots I hear about if it's not...

I like to do it since it only takes 10-15 min. I feel it makes it look better... maybe just in my head
