    What's the issue here?

I know how you feel. I have a first gen as well, and I realize it isn't extremely powerful. however, you did mention using "as much pressure as you can muster" Do you have a mark on the backing plate to watch? Is the pad just "jiggling" against the surface and not actually spinning? That...

Help With PC 7424 XP HD!

Which 6" orange paf? LC flat? CCS? The 6 inch isn't really recommended for the PC, the 5.5 do much better due to the less surface area. So with the larger pad you are able to use less pressure due to that fact. Also did you bump it all the way up? I always kick mine to full bore(6) for...

Putting a web page together needing input

The index links are a lot more obvious now, and something you did put the Title indented off to the right. So the tabs in a browser don't show the title. Misspelling in title for the scratch and scuff page. Has "scraches" In your car wash package page, recommend putting links to the...

Putting a web page together needing input

Went to look again, and the site is asking for a password. Maybe you are just working on it currently? No offense taken to not using ideas, it is your site. Just giving you my first impression. And as for hard to find, I think that may have been the wrong word to use, my eyes were drawn...

Putting a web page together needing input

I would recommend not having to click again for pricing. Most people want to get the info fast! Not have to click another picture where the headings aren't clear as to what to click. Also the home page is boring. The image dominates and it took some time to find the links to go elsewhere...

Review: DP Rinseless Wash & Gloss

I did a ONR and had the exact same issue. A single sponge is not a good idea for a rinseless. Even with vigorous scrubbing on the grit guard, the dirt stayed on the mitts "fingers". I think multiple MF towels/sponges would be a better way to go instead of a single sponge.

    Having trouble with 105/205

How many section passes are you doing? Do you have any pictures of the defects? What is the vehicle? It is hard to tell what the problem may be without more info.

How do you fill your buckets for washing?

I use two buckets with grit guards. I fill the rinse plain. With the soap, I pour in the soap then fill the bucket until the suds hit the top. Then I go wash the wheels. By the time I am doing washing the wheels I am able to finish filling the soap bucket and still have a small amount of foam.

    Cleaning wheels wells

I use simple green and an old bug sponge. Then I use a cheap foaming tire spray (Costco) Comes in 4 packs. This is done prior to the wash, so the tires and wheel wells get the foam. Wash the car, and dress the tires after.

    Tire Dressings....

I am a fan of the Pinnacle Black Onyx currently. It seems to have a 2 week durability. The shine only stays until the first rain or about 3-5 days. For the rest of the 2 weeks you can tell the tires are clean, but they dont have the freshly dressed shine.

Sorry for being the millionth person to post it but how are my packages/prices

In terms of pricing, have you researched other detailers in your area? Check your local craigslist, do a google search. Find out what others are charging. Even call to get a quote for your "vehicle." Your pricing is going to depend on your audience and what the market will bear. And as for...

Sorry for being the millionth person to post it but how are my packages/prices

It sounds like Mike was saying to not wash after claying. Just make sure to wipe the panel as you clay so you dont need to wash. And I think he means to take out the glaze and the interior. Use those as add-ons to maximize profit and save you some time!
