Also, after cleaning the pads, use a cat or dog hair brush (slicker) to separate and fluff up the fibers. Works even better on wool wash mitts and purple foamed wool pads!

On a DA like the GG6 or PC, I prefer the Meguiar's MF pads as the B&S pads tend to want to fly off the BP and/or overheat. On the FLEX 3401, I prefer the B&S pads. The key is to use no more pressure than the weight of the machine. For cleaning the pads, I use a bug scrubber sponge. Works...
