I'm going to support AG/AGO as much as I can because the people are wonderful and the knowledge is invaluable. That being said, I'm not going to go broke doing so... There are products that can only be bought here, prices that are sometimes better here, promotions such as BOGO and no-exclusion...

+1 In a pinch, regular masking tape will do for very short term applications, but I definitely wouldn't make a habit out of it.

I really don't mean to burst anyone's bubble or sound like the samples police, but 'trading' samples for cash is not allowed...

Mine actually does the opposite. Below speed 5, it acts like its on speed 1. Hit speed 5, and its like someone lit a rocket! I replaced the speed switch, but it didn't make a difference. You could try replacing the switch and see if it fixes your issue. It has worked for others. BTW...

They will flatten out over time and turn from CCS pads into flat pads, but thAt doesn't necessarily mean they are no longer any good.

Foam pads, no matter the manufacturer, will eventually wear down / wear out. That being said, pads that are well taken care of have a lifetime that spans multiple jobs. Some may disagree with me, but Lake Country makes some of the best and most advanced pads you can buy. They are by no means...
