    XMT 360 results

I've used XMT 360 for 2-3 years now and hands down it's one of the best one step products on the market. I will say that the opti-poly seal product produces near or better results. Both are my go too's for light cut, and polish/wax. Top it with opti UV spray wax and you have a stunning combo...

Immaculate Reflections - McLaren MP4-12C detail with full HD video

Man that video is sick. Several things that stand out to me. Lighting was great. Who manufactured then. Did you use multiple buffers instead of changing backing plates for larger pads? Noticed you used the Meg's MF system. Are you finding the pads wear well or changing them every panel to reduce...

    Hard Water Question

I have to agree with the others that ONR is one of the best solutions. You can also put about 1 oz of ONR in your wash water and it will help lubricate wash and reduce those spots until you switch. Enjoy

    Lookey what i found!

Exactly.. I treat the change in the car the same as the money that you found. My customers leave me keys to their homes to open the garage. They drop cars off and I return them days later all because of the trust that's built up. Remember that your reputation is the only thing that proceeds you...

Richy's M105 video (no dusting technique)

Richy thanks for the video and also helping detailers understand the need to perfect technique. M105 is a compound that is non-deminishing. Too much or over working it can produce dust and caking. As people become familiar with the characteristics of the products they use, they can begin to...

    XMT 360 Spray Wax

I wrote a piece about the opti spray wax a week or two ago and someone chimed in and said XMT-360 spray was a good product also. I'm glad to see you had positive results. Consider the OPTI spray wax with UV enhibiters also.

    CCS vs Flat Pads

Without getting to complicated, the CCS pad is a " Closed Cell Structure" pad that STORES product in the little pockets. It's density design stops the product from soaking into the pad. This pad is designed to disburse product longer from the pockets. Now flat pads generally handles heat...

    flex or groits, Rotary user

Ah, this is right up my alley. My original purchase years ago was the Dewalt 849 Rotary and it's a monster. People say it's heavy, loud and all those other things but no one ever denies it's results.. 2 years ago I went with the Griot over the PC given the extended cable, redesign to motor and a...
