I have a pair of SealSkinz. I've had them a few years. One leaks a bit on the pinkie finger so I just deal with it for the time being. I think I paid about $50 for the pair at the time.

Usually my hood and roof are the only parts of the vehicle you can tell the true color during winter! Never had my hood look like that, were you by chance driving underneath the beet juice truck?:laughing:

I have a similar type box I use for work outside my own place. I use it in conjunction with my flex bag. I find it very nice to hold all the supplies I need while being easy to transport. That particular box looks larger than mine so I think it should work for what you are looking to do with it.

I would say applying with a microfiber would be fine. It is not a heavy duty abrasive, it's more like an AIO for metal. I use it with steel wool on heavily soiled metals or just a microfiber for those in better condition.

Are you positive it was put away with paste wax not removed? I'm just wondering if the paint became dry and oxidized during it's 30 years of storage and that is what you are seeing? That could appear chalky and white and might be confused for dried wax? Just a thought...

That looks awesome! you really made that paint sparkle! Did you remove the rear wheels to get the rest of that bedside? That area looks like a major PITA
