Do you never worry about potentially scratching the paint with debris? That's always held me back from using a brush on the paint. But I admit, using a big brush with a large van like that only makes sense.

I just use APC, spray it on them and massage in with my hands, rinse, repeat. Dirty pads take 2 or 3 rinses, but works well for me.

How does the gold foam in this compare to the blue one? I use and love the blue one for rinseless and regular washes.

:iagree: That pretty much sums it up, KAIO is a chemical cleaner with no abrasives, so it will not remove contaminants like a clay bar would and vice versa. A clay bar will not remove the discoloration and haze that KAIO will.

Sonax Polymer Net Shield needs a bare surface or a surface with some sort of inorganic coating to adhere to too. Applying it over a coat of wax would be a waste of time and product as it won't bond to the paint. Apply Sonax PNS first, then wax the next day.

Auto Finesse has a nice citrus based grime pre-treatment called Citrus Power, I've heard good things about it. They also have a tar remover, but unlike tarminator, it's in a bottle as a liquid. I put some on a rag and wipe tar off. I find it works better than the aerosol version.
