Sounded like you went nice and slow. Did you finish with the nano? From what I've read, the flex may be the best way to go. The Mercedes has rock hard paint. I may get one next year but wanted to take it slow with the PC.

I'm looking to get some 5.5 pads. I currently use 6.5 and 4" CCS pads. Should I get 5 or 6 CCS pads in various colors, or get a couple of the Hydro-Tech tangerine?

Would there be a huge advantage using this instead a PCxp with 3" pads?

Thanks for all the responses. I want some opinions on a problem I'm having. There seems to be an oily film on my car. It's black, so when the sun hits it just right you can see it. You can wipe off or buff out most of the film. I can't determine if it's the quick detailer or the 2 coats of NXT...

When using a finishing polish, to bring out the gloss, what kind of pressure should I use with a PC. As much as cutting or correction? What about work time?
