Cleaning carpet lined inner wheel arch/guard

Our 2010 Highlander and my wife's 2016 Buick Enclave have these. Bottom line - do the best you can - because there is no real way to get these things 100% clean. I pressure wash them, then scrub with soap and a brush, and then pressure wash until the soap residue is gone. The water is still...

    Dr. Colorchip on Chevy Cruze

Likewise. I have touched up a number of spots and applied a clear over to make the blemish invisible, but it's not practical. Dr. Colorchip is a wonderful and easy method that can be a high profit item.

    what's your weather currently like?

Laughable. All winter. We have only had 3 days that were below zero. I can still see plenty of grass in our yard, and the average temp has been 20 degrees. Living in North Dakota, it's been very odd.

    Dr. Colorchip on Chevy Cruze

Yes. In this instance, and the last hood I touched up, I used the shoe polish method (I call it the squeegee method). Drop a few drops of the paint and squeegee/smooth it across an entire area and repeat until finished. I prefer the clear, soft, flexible squeegee when doing so. Then Sealact...

    Dr. Colorchip on Chevy Cruze

This was my offering to the detail gods yesterday - a 2015 Chevy Cruze. It was hammered from road salt and everything else. It got a hand wash, chemical decon, clay, and Blackfire One Step using Buff and Shine pads and my C-Beast. Dr. Colorchip was on hand to cure the front end road rash. Love...

    URINE STINK!!!

As stated, where there is one nest, there are likely more. You'll pretty much have to tear the thing apart to truly get it all.

    Blackfire Pro Ceramic Coating test

LOL. It's still warm and above zero here. We have had a laughable winter. When it hits --20 below and a --60 below wind chill, then it's a brutal winter. I have only worn my insulated flannel all winter.

    URINE STINK!!!

My local rep sells this product - Automatic Enzyme Pre-spot Amazon.com. He told me a story about his friend who had a cat that pissed in a bathroom all the time. He used this stuff on the sub-floor before replacing it full strength and it killed it. The cat never had interest in the bathroom...

    Blackfire Pro Ceramic Coating test

Bless me father for I have sinned as a detailer ON PURPOSE. :righton: I installed BLACKFIRE Pro Ceramic Coating, BLACKFIRE Crystal Coat Paint Coating on my wife's Buick Enclave last October after attending Mike Phillips' detailing boot camp and received it as part of the gift pack. It's had a...

Worth the upgrade to Griots G9?

The G9 is a fabulous polisher for the money. I had the opportunity to use it during Mike's detailing boot camp last September. Bang for the buck, there is nothing that will touch it. I would take it over a Rupes or even my beloved Flex polishers at 2-3 times the price.
