    Coated with Blackfire Ceramic Coating

Nice job. I applied the BF coating to my wife's Buick Enclave and our old 2010 Highlander that our daughter now drives.

Review: 303 Graphene Nano Spray Coating

Good review and thank you Mike. Like everything else, time will tell. I believe that graphene is in its infancy, and waiting for the chemical engineering and chemistry to catch up, so it can be used as a more long-term product.

What happens to ceramic as it ages?

What Funx said. The coating will eventually just wear off like any other protective coating or sealant. It needs to be maintained with regular washing/decontaminating per the coating brand specs for warranty. It also needs to be "recharged" for lack of a better term with a recommended LSP per...

    How to remove Pin stripes

Exactly. Those things will burn through paint like nothing. I used one to try removing graphics off of a helmet I was custom painting. It burned the graphic off, and left divots in some spots despite my being very careful. That was the first and last time I used it.

    How to remove Pin stripes

If they are adhesive pinstripes, I'd used a plastic razor blade. If you use the eraser tool with a drill, be damn careful because it will burn through a clear coat in a heart beat.

    Toyota Highlander coated

Thank you for the kind words Mike. It means a lot coming from someone of your skill level.

    Toyota Highlander coated

Yes it is. It's 100% solids so there is no "flash off". It takes a bit more to wipe off when applying it.

This past weekend I coated our Highlander with Dr. Beasley’s nano-resin pro, plastic trim coating, and headlight coating. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Meguiars apc, carpet & lingering smell (from the cleaner)

I'd hit the carpet again with straight water and then extract it to allow it to dilute the remaining APC in the rug.

What LSP do the pros use?

It depends on what the vehicle is. I use Wolfgang Paint Sealant if someone wants a protection layer for a two-step. Blackfire One Step has a paint sealant in it as well, so that saves a ton of time and I just go with that. For something more long-term and durable, and entry level ceramic...

Anything different about cleaning and protecting a farm tractor?

Usual stuff. The paint is typically single stage enamel. I would recommend an AIO like 3D Speed or Blackfire One Step. A good strong degreaser to clean around engine, grease zerks, wheel hubs, and hydraulic fluid areas. An APC for the steps, controls, etc. and a good vinyl cleaner for the...

What did you do today non-detailing related?

I stayed in my pajamas and worked on painting these beautifully sculpted Exorcist busts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Flex "Pixie" PXE80 extensions and attachments?

Does Flex, or any aftermarket company, make extension shafts for the Pixie? I love the tool, but could get more out of it if I had some extensions and other attachments.

Any recommendations on a cordless blow dryer?

I own an 18v Milwaukee three speed blower. I bought it because I already own Milwaukee tools.

Review: BLACKFIRE Mat Cleaner & Protectant

Below is my review after using it for a year. It's a long-term review. I bought this product to try over my regular APC a year ago. It was a new product and generally technology and chemistry etc. is better. I've been using the product for the last year and I won't purchase again. If the...

    Window cleaning trick

Windows aren't great, but myself personally can't stand glare on my windows. Particularly at night while driving.

The simplest thing can gain a customer.

I DO answer my phone. When I'm working on a vehicle and it rings, it can go to voice mail. Voice mail is nothing to be scared of. In today's "on the go" and "instant gratification" society patience and understanding are values to be re-learned by all. If you're the type of customer that...

    Window cleaning trick

My customer have had their vehicles to two different dealership detailers in town. Unfortunatley they streaked/contaminated the absolute hell out of the inside of their windows and I was contacted to fix it. To make sure I gave them a clean interior and exterior window detail with coating, I...
