Was there ever a resolution for this? I noticed the same thing. With the rotary adapter, it works fine. Throw on the 3mm or 12mm, and I can barely touch the paint and it's almost stopping. That's trying with a variety of polishes (Included RUPES polishes, Sonax 4/6, CarPro Reflect, FG400, etc)

My exact point from my post - so I agree! I highly doubt they came out with a shampoo that has such a high pH. Who knows, though. Still doesn't change the fact I won't be using it. Like I said before, if anyone does, I'd be interested to hear the results!

Coatings are by no means new, but there have been great advancements with them over the past couple of years. It's been said already - but a manufacturer will state whether it is advisable to top a coating; if it's the case, it will most likely be one of their products, which I see no issue...

Personally, I've used the CQuartz, Gtechniq, and Optimum coatings (amongst others) For what it's worth, there's a reason I'm now primarily using the CarPro line. Essence before CQUARTZ is absolutely fantastic. As others have mentioned, there is a learning curve to it, but if you take your time...

Fixed - Thanks for the heads up! Time will tell - if anything, I hope that the other company who performed the initial procedure may learn from this experience & strengthen their employee(s) skill-set and knowledge to prevent this from happening again, & have more happy customers for the future.
