I wear steel toes at work outside all day long. Get a comfy/quality pair and you will be fine. They also make composite toes which are lighter, and don't make your toes freeze when its cold out.

I agree with bobby, I just have the normal version and the sprayer part of it is horrible, spray pattern sucks for autos. Just use folex out of the spray bottle and the green machine to suck/clean up the mess.
