In no way am I "bashing" the product. But I returned every bottle I bought. Stuff is almost impossible to put on when compared to the other PBMG coatings they offer which are amazing. Stick with Wolfgang, Pinnacle or McKees and you'll be much happier.

Had an issue with my 2" iBrid backing plate. 1 email to Erin at Rupes customer service and my issue was immediately resolved. 2 days later not only did my backing plate arrrive, but she also sent me one of each size! Aaaaand, 2 sleeves of polishing pads, both 1" and 2". NOW THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Opti Coat 4 layers??? 1 will suffice just fine. I see 0 difference adding additional coats and find it's a total waste of time. Cars that come back 1 year later with 1 coat of Gloss Coat acts and looks exactly the same as multiple layers.

Don't forget about PNS.

BF SRC, Pinnacle, and Griots are all fantastic. I must say the Griots dusts the least, and doesn't murder a pad as much. It's truly is state of the art.

On another note Uber is similar to gloss coat in terms of application. Easiest way to do this is apply very heavy first coat. Let it flash for 30 seconds. Do not wipe. Apply second light coat over the same exact spot and immediately wipe. This is how we do the Opti-Coat Pro. You'll get perfect...

For us it's an hour a wheel. $400.00 to pull, degrease, prep, coat, reapply. We coat with Opti-Coat Pro Charging $25 is just ridiculous. Do it for free instead.

My wholesale price would be $60 for that. Includes pick up and drop off, repair and balance. Just so you have an idea of what you should be charged. We'd charge the customer around $120 depending on the wheel.
