"I'd like some custom scratches with my new car, please" - 2015 Audi Q5 - 22ple VX3 - Attention to Detailing Peoria

The more & more 22ple I see the more I like! They will make a huge splash at SEMA setting the new bar for coatings.

Gravels in the tire tread? Do you remove?

Old Paramedic tool works perfect for this. It's called a kelly clamp. We used them back in the day to clamp down IV's or clamp umbilical cords from newborns. Forget tweezers, once these latch on, nothing can survive lol http://www.amazon.com/Prestige-1500-Kelly-Straight-Forceps/dp/B00062N42I

Griots Boss System & Fast Correcting Cream/Perfecting Cream

Yes, I commented about how great the MF pads are. They truly are a game changer for me. I bought a bunch and this will now be my go to pad when working on darker vehicles. I enjoy your reviews as well, keep up the good work!

Griots Boss System & Fast Correcting Cream/Perfecting Cream

Billy has a point. A little less vibration with the 15 but it's always nice to know you have the 6" if you need it. If you are looking for the best value go with the 15 if money is tight. You can't go wrong either way. No one ever talks about the 15 for whatever reason. It's so hard to tell the...

Griots Boss System & Fast Correcting Cream/Perfecting Cream

One question. Did yours come with 2 washers for the plate? Mine did and I will say that using 2 over 1 definitely increased the pad rotation dramatically. That's a REALLY good catch! Yes it came with 2 but I 'assumed' it was a spare. I'll have to play around with it and see. Thanks for the tip!

Tiny tears in leather - fix?

Yes. Just follow the instructions. Pretty straight forward. Use as little of the colored product as possible. Less is more.

Griots Boss System & Fast Correcting Cream/Perfecting Cream

To be honest it's so so hard to tell the difference between the two. I say grab the 15 because it's cheaper. I ran them both side by side and you can only tell the difference so very slightly on curves and tight corners.

Griots Boss System & Fast Correcting Cream/Perfecting Cream

Only the 4th picture has the perfecting cream added after fast correcting cream. The rest are just the compound finished down using their MF pad. Not bad!

Griots Boss System & Fast Correcting Cream/Perfecting Cream

I forgot to add that I converted all my G15 and G21's with 5" plates. I can't speak for the 6 but keep it around for pickup trucks or hoods that are huge.

Griots Boss System & Fast Correcting Cream/Perfecting Cream

I found them to be as good. But the Griots Microfiber on their Boss Polisher is perfection. It's hard to explain, but you can feel it and see the correction happen right before your eyes. You really can't ask for anything more in a cutting disc. The Griots also conforms to curves better because...

    What one step?

Anyone try Griots Boss Finishing Sealent as an AIO yet? Interested to see if it measures up to speed. This weekend I think I'll do a 1/2 1/2 hood using both products and see.

Silly to detail a leased car?

So the way I look at it, whether it's leased or bought you obviously have pride in what you drive since you are on this board. 75% of my coating jobs are for leased vehicles. Who cares...whatever it takes to make your pride reflect on your vehicle and make you happy should be all you care about...
