I'm about done with ceramic coatings, not worth it , need suggestions

Bingo! THe process is hyped as being more durable so you have to do it less often, yet anyone knows car paint life is tuff and at least annually , unless a show car in a garage covered, you need to ( "Correct" = fancy 2st century term for varying levels of cmpd, polish, seal) and reapply...

Question about Gyeon Wetcoat on wheels...

I found the Wet Coat to be useless if you actively wash the wheels, greatrinse aid though and a quick pop to a detail..Probaly same as all the other spray products in the lineup, just diluted 90%...........so very profitable...........

Whats everyone using for headlight protection - before yellowing...

"Does applying a ceramic coating over a RESTORED headlamp offer any benefits? NO. It will wear away within a short period of time and the lamp will become hazy and deteriorated once again." Can't the same be said for applying this stuff to paint??????? I have always detailed my headlamps with...

Topping different SiO2 coatings (spray ons0

Ok getting this but then let's take Griots for example simply because I have tried the 3 in 1 and been quite impressed. They say you can use the 3 in 1 as a maintenance priduct. What would be the pros and cons of the 3 in1 v the Ceramic Speedshine? I am just using this brand as a basis for...

Topping different SiO2 coatings (spray ons0

Do toppers reduce the effectiveness of the original coat if the topper is lower quality than the original application. Say Can Coat Evo v some quickie auto parts store products?

Topping different SiO2 coatings (spray ons0

Ok, so after a 25+yr duration, this past spring I sold the rst of my old Collinite 845. The reason was simple. The look/protection of BlackfireAIO/Blackfire SiO2 competed successfully with Blackfire AIO/Collinite 845. aside: I now know to wipe down car with Iso prep before adding any SiO2. So...

    BLACKFIRE AIO

Self answered. Stupid question on my part. Next bottle I buy, I want the prep, cut of the One Step, but no bother with the protection as I will do another coat anyway, and it will probably be SiO2 in the future

    Griots 3-1 Cermaic wax

Cold temps mentioned. Maybe no bond because temps too low?? Can this product effectively replace the Blue Griots "Best of Show" finish spray I have used for years??

    Griots 3-1 Cermaic wax

Guess you don't live in below freezing climate....I have to wash cars in garage...unless lucky with weather from late December till early March. If outside , usually in the 30s. Foam gun...hehehe. If you are washing a car, easier is a relative term. Regardless you are hand washing it...

    Review - Gyeon CanCoat Evo

This will be my first step up the coatings ladder... when they get it. Until then I'll try some Griots 3 in 1

    Griots 3-1 Cermaic wax

You just nailed it. I fully understand coatings for garage queens or limited use vehicles. Collector cars etc. I have a 110K Range Rover that goes from CT to Maine every week. It has to get snow brushed off, salt coated, chisel off ice etc. It is not babied. By spring, my vehicles from...

    Griots 3-1 Cermaic wax

Impressive indeed. Seeing stuff like this is making me ask why one would go thru the effort of the expensive coatings. You need seasonal correction anyway in the northern half of the country.

    BLACKFIRE AIO

Love the correction the Blackfire AIO has!! I top it with Collinite 845. Gonna be hard to go ceramic with this look on my 2020 Stelvio Quadrofoglio! Deep, warm and pure. The AIO made some nasty waterspots disappear.

    Blackfire leather complete.

Will be using the bottle I bought soon. It will be compared to current bottle of Griots 3 in 1 after the old standard Lexol Conditioner.
