as a last step for polishing, it is recommended to be using a blue pad. and i would certainly not stop after polishing, it needs a wax/sealant as a lsp.

if it does happen to be the undercoating stuff, which i doubt it is being under the hood, you can use dry ice and that stuff will remove itself basically with very very little cleaning needed afterwards.

my race car is black as well, i recently started using fk425 and its pretty wierd how it does not attract dust/dirt as much as it did before. i recommend giving it a try.

i just did this process as well, wet the tires, sprayed aro, let sit for about 3 minutes then used a brush. worked perfectly.

ive used ex-p topped with nattys blue on three dark colored vehicles now, its nuts for sure. so deep.
