    Rupes LK 900E Mille & LH 19E

Man thats wild! My PE14 runs very cool when using 5-6.5" pads. On boats with a 8.5" pad, it does get warm, but NOTHING like my dewalt 849x. That thing operated bloody HOT! Thanks for your input! Im know a lot of us in the states are itching to get our hands on some of these tools!

    Best polisher for a beginner

x2 for the GG6. Its a great tool for the beginner. I have no experience with the torq. If you go the long throw route, Rupes mkII tools get rave reviews. I personally have been really happy with my 15mm Flex XFE7.

    Rupes Mille and LHR19E Rotary

I hope that some other pads, say the LC force hybrids will work on the Mille. They work great on the 3401! They sure are some sexy looking tools though!

    Rupes Mille and LHR19E Rotary

No plunge for me yet, but I will say, this looks to be an incredible polisher. Ill stick with my PE14, but the price point is quite attractive especially considering the RPM range and 30 foot power cord! I'd really like to get my hands on one to try out!

    If Storm Troopers detailed cars...

Thanks for the replies! I like doing a little something to stand out, and I'm not a fan of red (no offense Flex). Distressed look would be cool- I actually considered trying my hand at hydrodipping them a cool pattern- maybe in the future! Process was pretty straightforward. Broke everything...

    If Storm Troopers detailed cars...

I can't leave anything alone, and that includes my polishers! With the progression of my company over this past year, I am excited to move into a new location which will enable me to take my detailing to a new level! That being said, everything is bright white! The walls, ceiling, and even my...

    A little BRAG on FLEX

I imagine yours would be covered as well, especially with your previous BP issue. Jodi (representative I spoke to) was a complete pleasure to deal with! Absolutely agree. I couldn't be happier!

RUPES LK900E Mille and LH19E Rotary Polisher at Autogeek!

Lighter than the PE14? That new rotary looks killer, especially how slow it can go! Honestly, though, I love my PE14 so much, I would have a hard time "upgrading."

    A little BRAG on FLEX

DaveT, My unit never got hot in the least (compared to my 3401, which gets HOT). Even on 85 degree days the head and backing plate area remained cool respectively. I imagine the problem with mine was due to excess friction between the plate and plate holder, that caused the raised "nubs" to eat...

    A little BRAG on FLEX

So we all know how great the Flex lineup of tools is. The 3401, PE14 and XFE-7 all see regular use by me and I enjoy the results I get with all of their offerings! I purchased the 2nd generation XFE-7 around March from another detailing site, and have really enjoyed the tool! After the first...

Just pulled the trigger. Bought the Flex 3” DA polisher

REALLY excited to hear a little more info on this! It has seemed to get some excellent reviews thus far, and its DEFINITELY on my short list...like I might buy one too!! Curious, what pads are you going to use? Congrats on the purchase!

    3401/MF Pads??

I gave this combination a run 2 days ago, and it worked pretty well. Was able to compound the hood on a 2004 Toyota Matrix (extremely oxidized) with D151 with pretty good results. Although it works, my personal preference is for a Lambswool cutting pad on the 3401, and MF on a free spinning tool...

    31 ft Sonic SS

Looking forward to seeing the "after" shots! When I do boats (not very often, maybe a couple a year), My go to tools are the PE14 and 3401. Good to hear the mini griots is pulling its weight too!
