So did I but that's wrong. When using Tuff Shine u MUST use their tire cleaner and it takes multiple (read 6) cleanings to get the foam to turn white indicationg your good to go. And this was on well maintained tires. The DP Tire Cleaner turned white on the second scrubbing.

Tuff Shine was way to finicky about how to clean the rubber.

I've tried many different tire dressings & cleaners and frankly they all work well but simply don't last. After one or two rains, they dressing is gone and the tires look neglected. And since cleaning and dressing tires is not high on my fun to do list, I've tried in vain to find a coating...

I did actually. IME, the Tuff Shine system wasn't worth the trouble. Within a week or two the tires needed to be redone and that's after a long involved application process. Currently I'm in the middle of testing the DP duo and it's been three weeks since the initial application and they still...

Megs D101 APC full strength for really dirty jobs and diluted 1-4 for normal tire cleaning. I also have recently tried the new DP Tire Cleaner & Coating combination and that's been really great. I know the Tuff Shine systems is loved by many but I've been unsuccessful with their products - YMMV.

I would guess that a hybrid type of LSP would outlast a natural nuba but I would like to hear someone who can speak to this in a more scientific way

Still uncertain why that's important. Ease of use, gloss and longevity are typically the most important factors when choosing a LSP. As Mike P likes to say..."find something you like and use it."
