    Better them than us!

Unless something changes very rapidly it will be after the snow is gone.:D

    Better them than us!

I have loaded dumps trucks with snow blowers on loaders and blades. I have used front end loaders to haul snow for stockpiles, pipeline road beds and to make ramps for access to a pipeline right of way to string new pipe. In winter, when it is 20 to 60 degree's below zero, snow is a...

    Better them than us!

Joe P....Where I just came from they call that white stuff...TERMINTION DUST Glad it is icing on the cake. Have had a few nite jobs of snow removal in my day. It actually was more fun when you could use diesel to keep the boxes slick. Now you just have to let it build up in the box.

    Slow or More Passes?

I vote for slower over lapping passes to do paint correction. It has been my experience that moving fast does not provide the heat necessary to break down the polishes that I use.

    Stupid Thing...

That is an opinion which has no basis in fact, MikeyC. Although there was not a flag at half mast at this station it did give cause for pause, TexasTB. Have not personally run over any product.... yet...? There are many bottles of product that have been dropped or stepped on that I really...

my plan of attack - seeking reccommendations/advice...

As I read your post it looks as if you have the elements to complete a detail and have a clean shiny vehicle. Nothing that you posted gives me information as to the need of paint correction so what I have read appears to be a proper set of products to accomplish your goal.

    Help me with LC Pads!

I vote for the 7.5 in. pads and the six inch backing plate. Easy to center, good control with the rotary, durable, easy, and maintenance is easy. Just drop it in the washer and dry in the dryer. I do agree that it is nice to have the 4 in. pads for more defect correction if you are using a PC.

    Reviewed: The EDGE ShMITT

Thanks for the review, observations, opinions, and pictures. Will hold off for the moment on purchasing. Only because I need to wait until I am back in Texas to save on shipping charges. My only hope is that I have the same observations and experience with this innovative new product. Will...

    fk1 2180

Have used 2180 on the daughter's Ford Focus. It was at school for a month with out any thing done to it at all. When she returned home the protection was gone. This was in the Texas sun so it was a hard test. I am not a fan of a product that loses protection in a month. Comparing it to...

    ClayBar,XMT,Zaino, Wolfgang Sealant?

The only thing on your post that I can comment on from personal experience is the Zaino product. If you put Z2Pro on times two I would not top it with another sealant. Putting Wolfgang sealant on top of the Zaino sealant would be redundant. What I would do it split my hood half and half and...

Is it worth getting Nattys Blue

I love pretty much all the Poorboy line up of products. Yet, if you have a bottle of LS that is full I would wait until it is low before ordering another product that will give you good results. I have many different prodcuts lines but LS is the easiest spreading product that I have in my...

    Poorboy's wheel sealant.

I cannot make a claim for anything other than Poorboy's wheel sealant. Plain and simple. A very good product. I apply it way to often. So I cannot spreak to durability. What I can speak to it that S&W, Mf towel, and five minutes and my wheels are clean everyday. It took a lot more than...

How Much Money Do You Spend on Detailing Monthly?? (POLL)

I try to not purchase any product while I am in Alaska. So that gives me a reprieve from detailing supplies for six months. Although I did order a five gallon jugs that I just had to have of S&W while I have been here. That was simply mismanagement. Last year it was 150 dollars a month. This...

    Help with correct steps/product

What kind of pads are you planning on using? The plan that you indicated is plausible. If you are inexperienced the general rule of thumb is to start with the least aggressive product and pad first. I have started with SSR2.5 then finished with SSR1 on my Black truck numerous times. It...

    Help with Poorboys products!

No ProPolish is not the same as SSR1. They can do similar things but they are not the same. ProPolish is much more versatile. It can be used by hand to clean the paint. IT can be used with a PC to clean and clear marring and haze. With a rotary it can do some paint correction. Given time...
