That's what I thought. When cleaning leather use a white towel to do a test spot . If you see the leather's color coming off and going onto the towel, you may be removing the leather's color, otherwise it's usually just grime and dirt. Derrick

Hi Shiny, I don't advise using the dynabrade attachment with the Flex 3403. It's not really made to handle that amount of weight. Get a cheap "full size" buffer that can go at least 3000 rpm for the dynabrade attachment and use the 3403 as a rotary only, and you'll be happy. Derrick

You can unscrew the 8 inch backing pad off and screw on the 6 inch backing plate. Should take no more than 2 minutes to complete the job. That's a good price for that unit. Derrick

They are not really flexible. While the rotary pad is spinning the spinner rotates to knock the used polish off the pad. My problem is I sometimes stuff the tool at the bottom of my bag and the weigh from the products that's on top will snap a blade or two off making the tool unable to...

Mike, It only works with a rotary but it might work with a flex 3401. It depends on how fast the pad full rotates. I'm not totally positive about the the Flex though. Derrick

I have one and it works well. The only problem I have is the spinning rubber blades keep breaking when I put it in my bag. The good news is the company will sell you a replacement spinner for a reasonable cost which makes it a good tool. Derrick
