you can also buy some touch up paint and cover it up. Done it with my black truck .applied touch up paint with a small fine brush ..let it dry for about a day then lightly sand and buff..looked better than a white scratch thats for sure!

I think learning to do interiors will profit you a lot. At least with me most people call to get their interiors detailed rather than the exterior more than half of the time. If I were you id get some scrub brushes, detailing brushes(if your doing trim also), and a bissell little green machine...

id wash and clay bar first! i got jescar powerlock applies easily and removes so easily ..i havent used wolfgang but hear lots of good things about it as well..definitely going to try that next:xyxthumbs:

That sounds like a nightmare. I think you got the right idea though in your situation. It will take longer but its possible to do. Do you have any self servicing car washes near you? if you do why not take it there and do what you need to do to it.

I used 5 pea sized dots of the 2500 on an orange pad using my GG DA polisher on speed setting 5. Im thinking I may have moved a bit fast with the polisher when I got to the fender and hood causing it to not fully remove the buffer swirls. Would this be a cause? The rest of the car is fine no...

Fg400 with wool pad with rotary followed by mc2500 on orange foam pad on DA polisher..did the whole car but only see a few buffer trails on the fender and hood nowhere else on the car

with a rotary buffer..I used the MC2500 with a orange pad on a DA right after.. Not sure how I still have buffer trails. Everything looked perfect the day it got done

Adding to my post. what would you guys use? Do you guys think that HD speed will completely remove the buffer swirls while adding a layer of protection=saving time or would you rather use the MC2500 followed by an LSP?

I had the same problem. What i been doing is using a magic eraser. Normally i would spray the magic eraser with glass cleaner and wipe vertically on the outside of the windshield and horizontally on the inside wiped off with a glass cleaning towel. Never had streaks again!:xyxthumbs:

Just researched this about windshields having a UV protection film and apparently they do as mentioned by you and member Eldorado2k How much? Im not sure but also learned that the dashboards are made from better materials than back in the day. I used to have an 05 dakota owned it for about 11...

I got a decent looking steering wheel cover so far which should help the steering wheel from fading ..Thought of tinting my windshield possibly going 45% but already got a sun strip on it ...shouldve just gotten it tinted huh?
