Mixing products together. What's your recipe?

Sometimes I'll prime my pad with D300 and add a few drops of M105. This is one of my favorite ways to cut. Works very well. Great cut, long working time, and hardly ever dusts! __________________

    Autogeek Mustang Roll Call ?

Thank you! They’re actually not really seat covers, per say; they are merino long wool sheepskin pelts that I purchased from a furrier in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. They sewed material on the backs of the pelts for me so that the hide would not chaff the leather seats. My wife sewed some elastic...

    suede cloths

While there is a SLIGHT difference in the material composition, you can definitely cut the 16"x16" suede’s down and use them for application (I do it all the time). I can assure you that if you talk to Corey at Carpro-us he will tell you the same thing. However if you would rather use the 4”x4”...

Strange light reflection after compound and polish?

^^ :iagree: Great points! This may also be the case. This is why I recommended trying a fresh CLEAN pad and different polish as well. And as mentioned above, be sure to prime your pad thoroughly with you polish.

Hey Richy, I saw where some "old dog" posted this on another forum. Nonetheless, nice work bud!

Strange light reflection after compound and polish?

Those look like small buffer trails to me. Is it possible they were there before you worked on the hood? I'm wondering if someone installed them before you got to the vehicle and you didn't remove them. Do you have any other compounds/polishes/pads? If so, (and after trying the advice above...

    Best Headlight restoration kit

Being you are new to this I would recommend the 3m kit as well. Comes with everything you need for correcting (except the drill, be sure to use a corded one), can be picked up for under $20 at Walmart, works VERY well, and is extremely user friendly. I do a large enough volume of headlight...

Guys talking Towels - Bulk or One Off - Good Bad or Ugly

I must confess; "I'm the guy" who uses Microfiber Madness regularly and thought something might be odd here with this post. I too have never cared to play with towels on a CD before, (as I figured the soft and very scratchable, highly polished paint on my black Mustang would be test enough for...

    Paint coating question

You will be VERY happy with your decision to go with CQUK. And NO and NO. Do NOT use a glaze before applying a coating (the coating will not bond to the paint if you do), and do not use dish soap instead of Eraser!!!! In a pinch (like in a Foreign country in the middle of a job with no...

Joleat, I do indeed like SV (one of my favorite waxes makers). However, I hardly ever have the opportunity to use wax anymore. 99% of what I do "now" is coatings. Besides I still have other SV offerings, as well as some Zmol ones in my collection...;)

    Paint coating question

As stated above, 30ml is plenty for two coats around the paint and wheels. I've never used gtechnique exo, but I've used some others. CarPro coatings have always been my favorite. I only offer CQ and CQFinest now. Both outstanding products!
