Brand new truck - want to do it right

Yea that’s what I was thinking, especially since hers can be in garage, it’ll be easier to tackle, plus both same color vehicles so I can test one of the sealants on hers and a different combo on mine.

Brand new truck - want to do it right

My next question was going be what clay should I go with? Since it’s a new truck I didn’t know what grade to go with. I do want to use the sealant or a different sealant for the rims and head/tail lights.

Brand new truck - want to do it right

I’ll make sure I use more then enough lube because I am not trying to hurt the paint since I don’t have a DA to correct yet. Should I get a actual clay lube or use foam gun with soap? I plan to also take off my FX4 sticker on my bed. Seen some videos people say to just heat it up and just peel...

Brand new truck - want to do it right

What are your guys thoughts on me doing this: Wash truck, clay bar, then sealant. Or will the clay bar be a bad idea since I don’t have a DA to do any correction.

Brand new truck - want to do it right

Ok then I’ll do thorough wash then do sealant on top and then every week use spray wax as drying aid. How often should I apply sealant? Never done this before? Should I watch out for plastic pieces?

Brand new truck - want to do it right

So I just bought a 2018 Ford F-150 Supercrew in metallic gray. I want to make sure I keep this truck looking good. For now it sits outside since it’s to long for my garage, might put another bay on in future. I currently own various wheel brushes, 2 bucket system, soaps and what have you. Not...

Before I get the questions on "who cares about a bowl?" question, this is my grandmothers bowl that was giving to her for a hall of...

    Wet/dry vac size?

Well looks like I don't need to worry, the lovely girlfriend bought me a rigid 14 gallon wet/dry today for my birthday. I don't mind the size because I'm use to my big craftsman so this doesn't bother me at all. Can't wait to clean my trucks interior now!

    Well water

So I am buying my first house (if inspection goes well) and the house is provided with water via well. Usually I hear well is high in Iron and all not sure how true. But since I plan to be able to wash my truck in spring, is there anything special I have to do since it's well?
