In one corner you have Wolfgang, in the other you have Optimum...let's get ready to rumble!!

That blue lid is actually a bucket of masonry "anti freeze", I use 114 to clean the sponge from time to time actually. Just mix a half gallon and let it soak, comes out spotless.

In one corner you have Wolfgang, in the other you have Optimum...let's get ready to rumble!!

I went from washing 2 or 3 vehicles once or twice a week to washing one vehicle maybe once a week. So when it was warmer out the sponge was getting much dirtier much faster, apparantly it is the dirt being pulled off the vehicle and getting stuck into the sponge. If the sponge is cleaned after...

Griots products and boss system, why I'm switching!

Fluid Film long term problems for undercoating

I use it on my trucks and it does a great job. It works best on cavities and will wear off if put on like front end parts. Collects dust. I recomend it.

In one corner you have Wolfgang, in the other you have Optimum...let's get ready to rumble!!

The sponge has been in clean solution for a few days without it turning color, but squeezing it there does appear feel different. It is possible that it became dirtier because it was in a bucket with used solution, or from using it after it had been soaking for a while. Its just been too cold...

I would assume the polish is what is used, and i haven't heard anyone comment that it does. I would be observant while doing it though.

Were not talking about 114, and it doesnt have anything in it that would prohibit bonding of gloss coat im guessing either.

In one corner you have Wolfgang, in the other you have Optimum...let's get ready to rumble!!

It will pull, what I think are the gloss enhancers into the sponge and turn it black and it becomes unusable for me. Its smears whatever it is all over the paint. I have 4 waterless with wax of some sort in it and they all do it except the ONRWW,. Ill put the sponge in a bucket of it tonight...

    Preparing for LSP?

My vehicles are coated, so if I want to prep them I use D114 @ 128:1 and call it clean enough, but for the most part I just spray whatever I fancy after I wash it.

HELP on not poilishing the black trim

Yvaan from Optimum says they use the hyper system on the trim and even do it purposely to clean certain neglected trim. Doesnt stain, actually removes stains from the trim.

In one corner you have Wolfgang, in the other you have Optimum...let's get ready to rumble!!

For a pro the optimum line will save you much time and money if you use the system right. You cannot store the BRS in a bucket of Uber for a small example, probably couldnt use uber in a pad washer if you want to coat. You can get ONR in a 55 gallon drum too. For a hobbist, all of the products...

What's the real deal with WG Uber?

I use all rinseless products , and I have a half a dozen of them, with the BRS with excellent results. I dont know how your supposed to get crud out of creases with no hose or decent amount of water, but its ballzy of all you who do it like that. There is only 1 rinseless I didnt feel very...

    Compound testing

And since ive gone through this thought process I think I may understand why I am so adamant that skill is more important than abrasive technology. Because its the skill that will save you the time more then likely.
