    Just what the economy needed

The reason the US car makers are hurting is that they lost touch with the market. For years they built cars that were unreliable and ugly. They have gotten past the reliable part but they still can't seem to get in touch with what the market wants and they are having to play catch up with...

Al, are you cutting the Marine Detailer? If so , with what. I've been using the Marine Detailer after washing and AW once a month.

Anyone used Diamondite to polish a windshield?

Thanks. That's kinda the opinion I have. By the way, I tried the DG Marine QD. Good stuff. Used it on my 62 Vette that has no LSP on it at all. Looks very good.

Anyone used Diamondite to polish a windshield?

I checked with a local glass company and the time factor was mentioned. They also indicated the glass wouldn't be as clear. I imagine that's the reason for the sealant in the kit. I feel pretty sure it would appear distorted after that.

Anyone used Diamondite to polish a windshield?

I guess technically a pit is a very small chip. Watched the Diamondite video and it mentioned contaminate etching. Might be it, I just don't know what caused the problem.

Anyone used Diamondite to polish a windshield?

I think it is more like etched or pitted. Used a razor blade to clean it and nothing really on the surface of the glass.

Anyone used Diamondite to polish a windshield?

My windshield looks like it has been in a sand storm. Only noticeable if you are driving into the sun. I have cleaned it and it isn't dirt, over spray etc. Wondering if Diamondite would polish this out and how difficult it would be for the inexperienced. Hate to make it worse.

Black Metallic BMW 530i - This Car Came Detailed...NOT

Dealer details generally consist of running it through the wash rack, drying it off with a fairly clean shop towel, then spraying Armour All on anything that looks like rubber or plastic.

    S100 vs. P21S

Loved the ease of application and the look of P21S, but it seemed to turn the car into a dust magnet. I'm guessing the 100 would do the same.

    Green pad confusion

The green ones I have seem to have more of what I would call air space between the foam and feel stiffer than my orange. Would this be the more aggressive green and is it more aggressive than the orange?

    Green pad confusion

This is confusing! How can we tell the difference between the green pads? Can't remember where I got all my ccs pads. Guess I should have labeled where they came from.;)

Paul Dalton Doesnt Use A P/c

For you experiened with a rotary, what do you do for marrs and marks on, say the c pillar next to the back window, that a pc won't take out? Doesn't seem to be a good place to use a rotary.

    Menzerna Glaze?

I applied the Menzerna Glaze under Menzerna FMJ. It was fairly EOEO,just go light. I may go back to the 3M Hand Glaze next time if it will work under FMJ or another sealant simply because it is such a great product.

Do you guys think it is a good idea to drive a freashly waxed car?

Don't worry about it. Just drive it. You will be hitting it with another coat or switching lsp before this coat of wax wears out anyway.:D

Black BMW 745Li - My Eyes Hurt from looking at halogens all day

3M Hand Glaze may be one of the best around. The other 3M products seem to need a rotary to work well, but they make great stuff. Geared for the professional and body shops.

    P21s

The only objection I had to the P21S was that it turned the car into a dust magnet, but I am comparing it to a sealant so not a fair comparison. One of the best looking and easiest to apply and remove waxes I have used. Maybe a little QD would have helped the dust collecting

I did not bring this car back from the dead (Pics) and need help

I have used paint for a wood stove to paint mufflers and tips. Other than that and a chrome tip, not much to do.
