If you get rids of any swirls etc. then wash properly, you won't need an aggressive polish very often. The clear is thicker than you think. You'll probably trade cars before you work through the clear, especially with the UDM.
Apples and oranges, performance vs dust. I had Axxis Deluxe on my BMW and they were very dustless, but not a track pad. I have Hawk HPS on the G35 and they compare very similiar to the Axxis Deluxe. Once again not a performance pad, but very dustless. I would not have a problem going back to the...
They actually used to go around in the forest to gather the beans, but now they farm them. Probably more efficient method.
I've heard the smell is not too good when they are roasting the beans, but that the coffee is not bad.
Goo Gone will work, eventually. The 3M AR is mich quicker and is actually designed just for that purpose.
I removed almost all of mine as well as side door guards.
Problem I have with mine is that the shelves begin to sag after awhile with the products. They tend to then all slide to the middle making the problem worse.
Great write up. I think you are right on about the difference between wax and sealant. I notice this also. With sealant, the car almost seems self cleaning but not so much with wax. I've used wax over sealant and lost the self cleaning aspect. I now have a sealant and AW on and it is a slick...
I had a blue Edge that did about the same after 2nd use, just no leaking. Seemed to let go in the center. Edge replaced it but never did tell me the problem even though I asked.
You can strip with Dawn (no flames, I know there is a dispute on this) or CG Citrus Wash. Either will strip the wax. Probably any car wash soap, especially a citrus, will at the right concentration.
I've used my compressor but depending on the weather conditions, humidity mostly, it does blow out some water with the air and I drain it after every use.
Going to Wally World and pick up Al's suggestion. The leaf blower I have is way too heavy and is an accident waiting to happen.
Looks very nice. Black is so tough. I've done my G35 a couple of times now and still have some visible marks. Very hard to get everything with a PC, so your job is excellent.
Great as always. If you come across agood wheel repair guy in the area that can hand a curb rashed Volk, pm me the info.
I've always wished for a lift while I'm laying on the floor killing my back. Bet it spoils you.
