    Dusty after washing...

Couple things come to mind. Not used EX P but some LSP attract dust like a magnet. P21S does this. It also could be LSP dust that falls into cracks like around doors and trunk and blows out later.

This is bad, but I had to share it! Look! ROFLMAO!

As Rodney Carrington says, there are no bad boobs, some are just a little longer than others.:)

    OOOOooh those Bargins MF's

Target orange are ok, I wouldn't use them on the paint. however.

White latex over-spray on black paint.

Painters generally use denatured alcohol to remove latex paint.

Wash the pads for my Polishin' Pal

I saw this warning on a site where I just purchased some LC CCS pads. WARNING: Never clean foam pads or soak foam pads in dishwashing soap (Dawn) or laundry detergents. These detergents will attack the glue that holds the Hook and Loop backing material. Soak pads in a car wash shampoo or use...

    3M Sun Gun

I thought I was doing good when I got my Johnlight from Batteries Plus for $14.95. That light should show everything.

Any apps that excel at repelling dust?

Just switched, on a temporary basis, from FMJ to P21S. The FMJ seemed to be self cleaning while the P21S is a dust magnet. I think it's just the difference between sealant and carnuba.

    Meg's NXT Tech Wax confusion

You won't find many products that look better right after application than NXT. Not a long lasting product, however. BUT, how many of us wait that long between applications of LSP anyway. I know I don't, at least during good weather. I would use something longer lasting over the winter months...

    What should I try now?

Don't have any optima but can get some if I need to.

    What should I try now?

I have a 4" LC orange, but just tried the Edge orange and LC green. I really thoght the 106 would do it, but it sure diidn't. My clear isn't supposed to be that hard. Was on speed 5 -5.5. Guess I could try the LC 4" orange on a small area and see what happens. I will say the P21S does look...

    What should I try now?

Sure doesn't look like a stronger cut, feels softer and finer pores. 2 X 2 section, not sure how long, but the 106 was dusting pretty good. Did each section 2 - 3 times. At that rate it would take 2 days to do the car. Did the entire hood at least twice and some areas 3 times when I count...

    What should I try now?

What a bummer! Had the day set aside to remove swirls. Stripped the lsp off, dried, started buffing. Turned on the halogen, and swirls still there. Crap. Was using 106FF on 5" green LC CCS pad. Not touching the swirls. Tried Meguiars on the green LC. Wow, major marring. Switched to orange Edge...

    Zaino reapplication & Menzerna question

First, don't use Dawn. It removes wax but isn't the best for the paint. Use a cleaner or CG Citrus Wash at 4 oz to gal. Final polish may not get the swirls, depending on how bad they are. Just have to do a section and see. If not, you may need a more aggressive polish. After polish, rewash or...

    Foam Cannon?? Need Advice

I use CG and love it but the only way I ever put that much foam, of any brand, on is if the car is getting the full treatment and I want to strip it.

New to group and need a plan

I carry baby wipes in the trunk to take care of bird dropping when I'm away from home. If they're good enough for a baby's bottom, they should be good enough for my car. Just spray the QD on the dropping, let it soak for a few seconds, then wipe off.

You can also remove LSP by a higher concentration of CG Citrus wash. Removes wax and sealants.

    Best car wash soap

I have CG Citrus, Zaino, and Meguiars Gold Class. All good. Prefer first 2, but not by much. CG for the value, plus you can strip with it at high concentration.

    explain this foam gun

I used it at 1/2 oz. per 2 gal. and it was ok on my FMJ using 2 bucket method. I used 4 oz. per gal. to strip the NXT off my PU and then redid with FMJ. Stripped it clean.

    explain this foam gun

If the canon works with the soap at the recommended dilution I doubt there would be a problem. Problem is that the AG gun won't make foam at that level, or at least very much foam.

Gotta admit, not too impressed with AG Foam Gun

I didn't think you mixed water in the container with the soap, that the gun did the measuring. Did I read the instructions wrong?
