    Leather Cleaning

The CG Extreme Leather Cleaner is a good cleaner. I use it, and it's great at loosening crud in the cracks and crevices. Wipes off clean as well, no need to use a damp towel to remove it. The CG conditioner leaves something to be desired... too shiny for my liking. Try finding something that...

Review: NEW 2014 Mothers Back-to-Black Heavy Duty Trim Cleaner

Thanks for the review. I've been looking for a replacement to the Meguiars Ultimate Black. The Meg's stuff does what it claims to do, but the results last only until the next rainfall, which in south Florida can be every couple of hours. Not to mention it's very greasy. Will be picking up...

High quality production detailing by Mike Phillips

Mike, great job for only 4 hours worth of work. Every time I get a call from my craigslist ad, this is the type of work requested. I had someone call me from Palm Beach Island with a new S550 and a new M3, wanted me to wash, clay, polish, wax, vacuum, clean leather, and apply surface...

    Most regretted detailing product purchase

Back in my younger, more uninformed days :cruisin:

    Most regretted detailing product purchase

All the Formula 2001, Armor All, and "wet-look" tire shine that I bought in high school. Long live Autogeek!

2 Step Correction on my dent guy's Sierra RCSB

Great work. The video on your website is amazing. I can only imagine what the production budget was!

    Grand Cherokee

Looks amazing! Have you considered using a drill? You would probably save a bunch of time doing so.

    Oxford Blue P38 Range Rover

Thanks! Thank you! Yes, Meg's UC is amazing. I've been wanting to try their Ultimate Polish as well. Any experience with it?

    Oxford Blue P38 Range Rover

Haha! Yep, most Range Rovers I see (especially here in northern Palm Beach county) are mall crawlers. I was referring specifically to the P38 model (1995-2002), which is becoming increasingly rare to see "on road."

    Oxford Blue P38 Range Rover

I swear I took before photos... unfortunately, I took them with the memory card not inserted into the camera. The after's will have to suffice. You don't see too many P38's on the internet being detailed, as people are usually trying to get them dirty rather than keep them clean. I'm glad...

    TurtleWax Rinseless Wash

Doesn't work well from my experience. Maybe I used too much spray wax, but the end result was a product that had little slickness, and essentially turned into a diluted spray wax.

    Chemical guys stuff came!

Post a pic of your paint in direct sunlight or while using a Brinkmann. A good rule of thumb is to use the least aggressive method of correction, so the compounding step could be avoided completely if you are able to remove the swirls on your paint with a polish.

    TurtleWax Rinseless Wash

Brilliant! But I think I've lost the original receipt. Oh well.

    Used cars dealers

Used car dealers don't like to pay for anything. I had a used car dealer that was so adamant about his "other detailer" doing a wash, polish, wax, and interior shampoo for $25, I think he had himself convinced that he was telling the truth.

    Waterless and rinseless washing ?

I did two over the weekend, and they took me about 40 minutes each, with wheels.

Wash > Clay > Compound > Polish > Glaze > Sealant > Wax Wax gets applied after a sealant.

    Chemical guys stuff came!

The Black Light has abrasives, so I wouldn't use it every week. The V7 is a sealant, and should last a few weeks. I'd use the V7 every fourth wash and a spray wax after every wash in between (assuming you wash once a week). Of course, that's an opinion coming from someone who lives in South...

    Chemical guys stuff came!

I'm a big fan of BFWD myself. They had a BOGO?! Can't believe I missed out on that one! I'm torn now between BFCS and CGV7... Maybe I'll try them both. :)

    TurtleWax Rinseless Wash

I was about to head out to AA, when I realized that I live 15 minutes from Autogeek HQ. I normally call in my order in the morning, and pick it up after work, so virtually every car care product out there is "locally available" to me! I get so wrapped up in the hype sometimes  Still a...
