I agree, It sounds like you just had a bit of smearing. QD works great for removing any smears left over after you wiped off most of the wax. Maybe you could try letting the wax dry longer next time, and apply a thinner coat. This should help. What wax were you using?

+1 on the Tarminator. This stuff works well. Just makes sure to spray it on section by section, and don't let it dry on the surface. Follow it up with clay.

Even with good technique, many times you will end up with holograms. Holograms mostly if not always, are caused by a combination of the pad, polish/ compound, and the rotary buffers action. Its going to be hard to avoid all holograms, but they are simpler to correct with proper technique, and...

Ultimate Protectant is a great option. If you are looking intio longer durability then try some Forever Black Trim Dye.

May I ask why you feel NXT is not as good a product as those two you've mentioned? In my opinion its just as good if not better. Just curious, not trying to start anything. Have you had performance issues with this product?

If you don't mind using a sealant, I would recommend DG 105. Great durability and even better price tag.

85rd is not a replacement for M21. 85rd is a finishing polish and M21 is an LSP. If you want a replacement for M21 try Power Lock Sealant or any other quality LSP.
