I sometimes wash my car under the sun too, but I wash it a section at a time. Just don't let the soap dry off especially on the windscreen. I too sometimes wax my car under the sun, but I use wax on wax off method. So that it doesn't streak or difficult to remove. Hope it helps. I parked my car...
