trouble with Menz SF4500 via FLEX

Okay I had a very similar situation and I found two options that both worked for me. You need to change the action of your machine due to too many variables. If you want an explanation pm me. If you have a free spindle da or as you said a rotory try using that and do a test spot. Also set up...

Tuf Shine: Hurry Up, Mother Nature!

Wow all this thought into wheel cleaning and maybe just thought of an idea. I bet you a steam cleaner would be more effective in removing prior gunk then any wheel cleaner. Well maybe more effective then methods already taken, but a solution to fit a wide variety of tire sizes.

Optimum Hyper Polish: Difficult to remove? Anyone else have this problem?

The flex 3401 is a very beautiful thing but one can forget how fast it breaks down abrasives. Do some experimenting and figure out if potentially you can better your technique to better suit yourself for future usage. Your doing the best you can be happy for that

Tuf Shine: Hurry Up, Mother Nature!

I would have to agree that the tire cleaning process may indeed be the culprit. If 100 percent of old tire dressing or gunk is not removed then there could be an issue with adhesion. I found out that silicone is in almost all manufactured tire dressings. This can be a very big problem causing...

Tuf Shine: Hurry Up, Mother Nature!

I will tend to take a clean white terry cloth towel after cleaning my tires to get a visual. Sometimes tire cleaning can be more time consuming then you would think. If the tires seem to be clean then the next step would be to decide on weather there was a mistake on the coating application...

    Buffer marks on plastic trim!

I think that he might be referring to the wolfgang finish glaze which is a fine polish. M205 would work also but sometimes the finish glaze finishes down better. Depends on many variables.

Tuf Shine: Hurry Up, Mother Nature!

What product are you using to clean the tires with before you applied the tire coating? Sound like you might potentially have an adhesion problem with the coating itself trying to set up.
