I find the durability is best if the paint has just been polished and then cleaned with a paint cleaner or IPA wipe down. I've been just waxing on top of the old layer unless it really needs a clay or correction...

Nope, I used new applicators for PERL so I avoid cross-contamination with my older oil based dressings. I think it's the rain plus cold temperatures (30-34f) and then baking in the sun to dry.

Granted but it should work fine full strength as well... It says undiluted for tires though and I also had some ashy looking results.
