    I would call and make sure they baked the paint. If they did bake it you should be able to use a less abrasive polish, be careful not build heat! Light pressure only!

    I would let the body shop repair and clear the whole quarter panel. If you're going to wet sand request they add a few extra coats of clear coat, so when you can sand without going thru the clear coat.

    I agree rmagnus advice, and would like to add make sure the truck is washed, clayed and then test the worst area. If you correct the worst area the rest will give excellent results.

    Opti-coat works fine on single stage paint in my experience. I have never had a problem, just make sure you prep properly before application. Opti coat was designed for the newer clear coat paints, but I have used over ten different single stage paint cars and never a problem.
