My Business Name... Mobile... longterm goal: SHOP

Yes that is a possibility. Also if it's 'Niko's Pro Detailing' I'm building a reputation for myself. If it's 'Molina's Pro Detailing'then I'm building a reputation for me & any of my 'Molina' relatives. I don't think I'll be using an abbreviation all that much man.

    Best $10 I ever spent..

Heading down to Florida in September? If so I may see you there! Hell instead of going to Walmart for my quick 'small' detailing needs such as a quick detailer, some Folex, extra MF towels or a Meg's/Mother's 'consumer line' product I'm actually going to be heading to my local Auto Zone and...

My Business Name... Mobile... longterm goal: SHOP

I will be starting out as a mobile unit for my detailing business and will grow it over time. Years and years will go by as I grow my reputation and my business and once the day comes I feel like I can sustain running a shop with the amount of clients am working for, I will open up a fixed...

    Best $10 I ever spent..

Currently in the middle of reading it as well. Just got done with the section about micro marketing and leaving business cards around and visiting car shows, getting involved with the local auto world. GREAT book and has really opened my eyes to the ins'n'outs of the business side of things. I...

Facebook users start "like"ing our pages

Went through and liked a bunch of yours. I'm not open for business until Spring 2015 but could use some likes to get started. I plan to invite my Facebook friends & family to like my page which should generate 100-200 likes easily but I'd like to be closer to my start date so that they have...

How do you guys 'up north' countermeasure the 'slow time'?

Won't be getting a shop since I'm just starting out. Renny Doyle's book recommended for just starting out doing it mobile and that is actually what I've been planning all along even before reading his book. Just going to really have to think about how to prepare and approach the winter months...

    pricing

If claying/nano skin is involved, there should be AT LEAST a 1-Step paint correction such as an AIO. Claying/Nano Skin will leave marring on the paint and that can be countermeasured with the AIO.

How do you guys 'up north' countermeasure the 'slow time'?

We have potential snow from October-March. Definite snow November-February. Damn Ohio weather... brb 4 seasons in 1 week

How do you guys 'up north' countermeasure the 'slow time'?

Due to the snow and terrible weather. Do you change marketing tactics? i.e. Advertise undercarriage cleaning/salt removal + protectant? I've seen products such as Salt Away that are for this and could perhaps keep clients coming in throughout the winter months. What are your tactics? How do...

    Your PERSONAL Detailing Supplies

For YOUR car and not for business/production/etc. detailing. What type of products do you spend extra $$ on for your own car? Detailers that do it for a business I see try to get the best quality products they can find for the best price they can get it for and buy in bulk (1gal-5gal)...

Using products together for synergistic effect

Haha that's the thought process that went through my head when I saw that it's common for guys to use a compound from one line and a polish from another. Why? I was originally going to get M105/M205 but guys suggested to use M105/FG400 instead and as I was reading Mikes book he had a section...

Using products together for synergistic effect

In page 70 of Mike P's detailing book he says he recommends to stay with one line of products regarding compound & polish due to SYNERGISTIC effect between the chemicals/ingredients. Your thoughts? I see plenty of people mix & match all the time but what he says does make since. Are those...
