    Thoughts on a business idea

I wanted input from all you car cleaning gurus on if you would like a business like this in your area. I've discussed it with a lot of my customers and they like the idea. I want to open a...

Yeah I love it so far. It just showered real quick. Took some pics and then through a cup of water on the hood where it was all beaded up and everything slid right off I wish it would go more then two days without a quick shower here on the east coast of mass but everyday this month it shows...

    Mckee 37 hydro blue

Used Mckees hydro blue and I've got to say I'm pretty impressed to say the least. I have the spray coating too, but when I washed my car the other day, there was a 10% chance of rain overnight and I didn't know how long the coating had to sit before getting wet so I used hydro blue instead and...

    Removing wax

Thanks Mike. Would is still be necessary to machine polish the paint? I have checked under direct sunlight st different angles as well as under the great gas station lighting and have not seen any type of swirls or marring. I'm hesitant with machine polishing. I'm not too great at it and don't...

    Polishing help

Afternoon everyone. So back a few weeks ago I polished the hood of my 2013 Impala. Got some spiderwebs out. Not all but some. Today while washing my car i noticed what looked like buffer trails. But I used my porter cable 7424. So I guess the right term would be da haze. My hood was repainted...

    Hologram/buffer trail help

Thanks Mike! I defintely missed a step last night. I used the scratch x on the cutting pad around the whole car, buffed off by hand and then applied a glaze by hand, buffed off then used a sealant called Blitz from the CG. What I have in my arsenal for right now are obviously the scratch x, I...

    Hologram/buffer trail help

One question I have it how much pressure is enough? I put 4 black lines along the backing plate to see the rotation. Do I put enough to where the lines slow down a bit or where they freely rotate at full speed?
