How'd it turn out? I've had luck in the past with wet sanding, buffing then filling the scratch with paint, letting it dry, then buff again. Repeat until level.

I've found that the heavier the cut, the more it dusts. Usually I'll re-wash after compounding, or if it's not too bad use the leaf blower to blow it all off. Be sure and pay close attention to the door jambs afterwards as dust WILL get in there. Good luck.

If it was mine, I'd just be sure to flip the mf towel as often as possible. Fold into 1/4s, spray, wipe, repeat. Also I'd be hesitant to wipe in a 'back and forth' motion. Easy on the pressure and wipe in a straight line. Good luck.
