I think that's right, although I recall reading about one paint that was terribly expensive because it had a separate layer of flake (but it was a custom paint for a show car). This link has some interesting information about base color and flake sizes, and other things that affect paint color.

Difference in temperature. Mine were slightly squished when I got them last month, they sucked in a little air once the seal was removed. I suspect it's because it's warm in FL and not here :) Open them (don't forget the seal under the lid) and let them sit in the house to warm up, they...

Thanks Mike! That's pretty much what I figured, but wanted to make sure I didn't do anything dumb. IIRC I got both it and a bottle of ASR when Pinnacle first came out with the advanced version, in exchange for writing up a comparison. Still use the ASR frequently...

How is everyone cleaning applicators used for WDGPS? I'm using foam applicators, and it seems like when they get wet to be cleaned the sealant gets gummy in the middle of the pad (like, on the inside) and doesn't come out. I normally just hand-wash applicator pads the way I do pads for the...

If you can, do it before they get installed - would be much easier......

I suggest not buying a "cheap" one - you'll quickly realize it won't do what you want, and you'll end up buying a "real" one....save up and buy a PC7424, Griot's or similar...you won't regret it.

When I was in high school and waxing (with RainDance, remember that? One of the first cleaner waxes) my car almost every third or fourth day in my driveway, the man across the street kept telling me "son, you're gonna wax the paint right off of that car!" Luckily I never did....

I second (third?) the UWW+ suggestion. can use it as a detail spray, rinseless wash, or waterless wash. I dont' do the waterless wash, but do frequently do the rinseless - fast and easy. I just ordered those - for under $3 each figured it couldn't be too bad, and they have gotten some good...
