GUM..On the OUTSIDE of the car...?

I'm just hoping since it's been in there for so long it's not leaving the same style of stains in the clear that bird droppings and bugs leave. Great video!

GUM..On the OUTSIDE of the car...?

2009 Black Audi A4. NOW, I have not seen the car yet in person, so pics will come later... Someone took big league chewing gum and chucked it on my clients car. I believe it sat outside our HOT Chicago sun for hours. The client was able to wipe the hard stuff off, but as he describes, there...

    A Chicagoland get together?

I'm also down for this meet as well... I also have a shop we can use, depending on the amount of people. The inside holds 3 cars comfortably, but there are no chairs/couches or anything to sit on. The parking lot can comfortably park 7-8 cars. My friend owns a shop as well that may be of...

    Extreme makeover KIA Interior

Great job! These jobs also frustrate me as the cars can never be perfect, sometimes makes you work longer or second guess, but in the end not all stains can be removed.

Change of mind on selling 3401

If you don't get a lot of bad full correction cars, is the flex a more solid option over rotary?

    Pressure Washers...and you

I'm curious what everyone is using or IF they are using pressure washers either at home or as a MOBILE detailer. There is a flood of options out there and I'm sick of my crappy one. Electric or gas? Mobile guys- DO you carry, water tank, pressure washer, a generator for electric?

    Tracking hours on a job

I typically like to physically inspect the car before quoting or detailing and for each package depending on the severity of the vehicle I know how much Time/money it will cost the client. As far as lunch goes, if I'm doing a full detail I will most certainly rest my body. I've already had one...

What do you not like to do on a detail?

Rims. I hate thick brake dust or rims that ate pitted and don't look perfect anyway. Any tips on how to tell if a rim is aluminum, chrome, painted chrome, painted aluminum?

2005 Honda Accord Coupe (50+ pictures)

Great job! What did you use one the rims and tires? Where did you learn how to wet sand lights?

    2003 Accord

Beautiful. I'd say your fine with the flex. Unless you find yourself doing full paint correction cars, maybe consider a rotary but the flex handles 80% at least of what a rotary can do, and only takes a little more time. I rarely touch my rotary anymore. Mostly flex and porter cable DA for wax...

    Clay & Clay Experiment

Yeah the ease of use of detailed clay is great... Remember if you spend 30 bucks on clay break the piece in half and you can use them much longer!

    Clay & Clay Experiment

I spend about $25 per clay and this is very interesting. Is there truly a difference?

I got my stuff organized...now lets see yours!

I was trying to find a thread for your own "Detailing Arsenal" before I started my own, and I found this... Resurrection... boy what "searching" before starting a thread does for ya... Here's my arson for my mobile detailing company. I know it's not huge but I'm steadily doing 2-3 details...

The Wolfgang Twins - Picture with Links

Just made a small order from AGO, and I thought this thread needed more pics... Here's the things I just added/re-added to my arson. I'm stoked to trade in the twins... I was going to go with 105/205 from megs, but this just seemed to awesome to pass up. I've been using Adam's/Chemical guys...
